River's Edge Ranch is a four-bedroom ranch house on the bank of the Methow, the river running along one edge of five open acres. A classic ranch house restored top to bottom, with three separate sitting rooms and two full kitchens, so everyone has room to breathe.
The Living Spaces
The main living room opens to the deck through a glass door, with wide-plank floors, exposed beams, a leather corner sectional, and a wood-burning stove set into a brick fireplace. A long farmhouse table seats the group for dinner. Off the entry there's a second sitting room with reading chairs and a gas stove, and the guest apartment has a cozy living room of its own.
Two Kitchens
The main ranch house kitchen is built for real cooking and a crowd: a six-burner gas range, a farmhouse sink, a full-size refrigerator, and a wood-topped island with stools. With a second full kitchen in the guest apartment, two cooks don't have to share a stove.
The Deck and Hot Tub
The deck runs eighty feet along the water, lined with loungers and an outdoor dining table, with a private hot tub at the end of it. Off the guest apartment, a separate patio sits under a pergola strung with lights, with a long table, benches, and a fire pit for the evenings.
